This ATEX certified floodlight features an independent, isolated LED electronics unit, so the others will remain lit if one LED fails. Each electronics unit can be individually replaced as needed to minimise maintenance. You can adjust and move the portable LED floodlight with ease with the 25-degree stepless adjustment. Which environments require ATEX-certified lighting?
The zone classification and the approved lighting you will need depends on the materials present in your work environment.
Class I: Defines locations where flammable gases and vapours are present and present a potential to ignite or explode if in contact with open flames or electrical sparks.
Class II: Defines locations where potentially combustible materials and dust are present.
Class III: Defines locations where ignitable fibres are present, either during normal operations under controlled circumstances or if a malfunction and potential danger exists.
