The SAFATEX PL Torch uses a high-tech light source giving an impressive performance of 67 Lumens with a 41m beam. Compact size designed for easy pocket storage or clip-on to bags and belts, CE marked to the ATEX Directive and IECEx certified for safe use in potentially explosive gas, vapour, mist or dust atmospheres, where a T4 or T5 temperature class permits. All models approved to Group I for use in mining applications.
LED SAFATEX PL Torches approved as Category 1 equipment for use in Zones 0, 1 and 2.
The SAFATEX PL Torch has a high powered LED – CREE XP-G2 lamp, optimized for directional, high-lumen applications. Powered by only two, readily available, standard AAA batteries (Included) giving up to 20 hours of usable light. All supplied with batteries.
SAFATEX PL Penlight Torches are ergonomically designed, constructed for durability and to be drop proof up to 1m. Supplied with a wrist strap, an integral pocket clip for secure retention and to prevent roll on a flat surface. A push-button allows single-handed switching, shrouded to guard against accidental operation. All are certified IP67, sealed against water/dust ingress.
