The ATEX LED NightSearcher SAFATEX Pro Headtorch is the ideal compact headtorch for hands free lighting where access is difficult or requires climbing and crawling. CE marked to the ATEX Directive and IECEx certified for safe use in Zones 1 and 2 potentially explosive gas and Zones 21 and 22 dust atmospheres. The approval code covers all group II (industrial) gas apparatus groups and potentially explosive gases up to T4 temperature class, and group I M2 mining applications.
The SAFATEX Pro is compact and lightweight weighing only 165 grams including batteries. Constructed from robust, highly durable, high impact thermoplastic materials, chemical resistant and electrostatic non-hazardous. Fitted with a shatterproof polycarbonate lens. All protected by a rubberised protective cover. The 90° tilt adjustment mechanism allows the user to angle the light and the bespoke optics deliver a broad spot beam suitable for close up hands free tasks. Designed for single-handed switching and water/dust tight to a minimum of IP66.
The SAFATEX PL Torch has a high powered LED – CREE XP-G2 lamp, optimized for directional, high-lumen applications. Powered by only three, readily available, standard AAA batteries (Included) giving up to 12 hours of usable light. All supplied with batteries. 220 lumen providing a 100m beam or 100 lumen with 75m beam
Fitted with an adjustable removable rubberised head band to provide extra grip for use with a hard hat.
